Neighborhood needs help replacing destroyed truck

Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center is looking for help replacing the center’s truck after it was totaled in a crash by a hit and run driver.

According to the center, having a truck allows the center to help provide emergency services to residents in needs, such as during severe weather. Although the truck was insured, the settlement check is not enough to cover the purchase of a used vehicle.

The center will be directing all of the concession sales from YES! Cinema at several upcoming events to the truck fund including this weekend’s Taylor Swift release party. The concession sales at the Columbus Indiana YES Film Festival from October 24th through the 26th, as well as the opening of the Mastermind film on October 27th will also go toward replacing the truck.

YES Cinema at Fourth and Jackson Street is owned and operated by Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center.
