Oktoberfest underway in Seymour through Saturday night
The 52nd annual Oktoberfest is underway in Seymour.
Food, activities, arts and crafts booths open at 11 today, as well as the biergarten. A courtesy shuttle will be running from Seymour High School to West Second Street starting at 4 and running until 11:15 p.m. courtesy of Wright Implement.
The festival gets into full swing today with opening ceremonies at 5:30 p.m., including the prince and princess contest and festival awards.
Entertainment today will include bluegrass music at 6:30 p.m., the Schulhaus 4+3 German Band at 7:30 p.m., jazz pianist Johnny Martell at 6:30 p.m. and country music with Clayton Anderson at 8.
Events are going on until 11 p.m. each night through Saturday.
