U.S. 31 bridge work to continue in Greenwood

Work will continue tomorrow night on a U.S. 31 bridge in Greenwood.

According to INDOT, the bridge deck overlay project is happening on U.S. 31 over Pleasant Run Creek. Wednesday night contractor crews are planning to reduce northbound U.S. 31 to a single lane overnight. They plan to reopen both lanes by Thursday morning. The work schedule is dependent on the weather.

The bridge deck overlay project is expected be completed by the middle of November. The work is part of a $3.7 million contract awarded to Milestone Contractors.
