Water main leak leads to boil water advisory

Some Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. customers are under a boil water advisory after repairs to a water main.

According to the water utility, yesterday they were repairing a leak in a six inch water main near South County Roads 650E at East 100S.

After the water was restored, affected customers are under a boil water advisory. Under a boil water advisory, you should bring water to a full boil for three to five minutes before drinking it or using it in food preparation.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until noon on Friday,
