Blast of winter weather likely this evening, overnight

Forecasters say that we can expect a round of winter weather starting this evening. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a winter weather advisory for our area, with two to four inches of snow expected overnight.

You can expect slippery road conditions if you have to drive home tonight, or go out tomorrow morning. Officials suggest that you slow down and take extra caution if you have to be on the roads

The winter weather advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. this afternoon through 10 a.m. Friday morning.

More snow is expected on Saturday along with the coldest temperatures so far this season. Temperatures should be near zero, with wind chills making that feel like 20 below zero.
