Mental Health Matters receives recognition from website

The creator of a mental health website is recognizing Bartholomew County’s Mental Health Matters initiative with an award.

According to Columbus Regional Health, the CredibleMind program has chosen the local initiative as a standout community based program using creativity and coalition building to help elevate the overall community mental health and well being.

CredibleMind praised Mental Health Matters for its comprehensive strategy and high-visibility public awareness campaign, “Standing up Against Stigma. Mental Health Matters was also recognized for the Ambassador Network that reaches out to specific segments of the community who are underserved by mental health, including veterans and minority groups.

CredibleMind is an evidence based online mental health platform that allows users to take surveys to assess mental health concerns and then based on that information provide personalized services. The service is available via apps or on a computer.

In 2024, Bartholomew County launched its CredibleMind portal with funding for the first three years coming through the sheriff’s department jail commissary funds. A grant through Heritage Fund — The Bartholomew County Community Foundation allowed the site to offer multiple language options.
