Commissioners make annual appointments; London to serve as 2026 president
Bartholomew County Commissioners held their organizational meeting for the new year yesterday, with Commissioner Tony London chosen as president of the county’s executive body.
The commissioners renewed appointments to positions including Dean Satterfield as animal control officer, Michelle Cox as building and zoning director, Rick Trimpe as county building and maintenance supervisor, Danny Hollander as highway engineer, Dwight Smith as highway superintendent, Amanda Velez as youth services center physician, Dylan Miller as veterans service officer, Chris West as weights and measures director and James Shoaf as county attorney.
The commissioners also approved appointments to various boards and commissions.
