Columbus firefighter promoted to lieutenant

The Columbus Fire Department is announcing the promotion of a firefighter.

According to the fire department, firefighter Casey Taylor has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Taylor joined the department in 2018.

Taylor is certified as a Paramedic Emergency Medical Technician, Rope Rescue Technician, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Technician, Fire Instructor and Fire Investigator.

Taylor has been assigned to serve as a Company Officer on Battalion A.
