Greenwood to be site for medical company’s Midwest center

Gov. Mike Braun has announced that a health technology company, Resmed, is planning a $30 million investment in Greenwood that is expected to bring 100 jobs.

According to the announcement yesterday from the governor and the Indiana Office of Commerce, the company is planning a state of the art warehouse and distribution center, the first in the Midwest. The company will build a more than 446,000 square foot facility on Collins Road and expects to start operations in 2027.

The San Diego based company provides medical devices to treat sleep apnea, COPD and other chronic diseases. The jobs will include high skilled technicians and the company plans to invest heavily in employee training.

Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers said the investment reflects the community pride “in bringing high-quality jobs to Greenwood and expanding the region’s role in delivering essential healthcare products nationwide.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has committed up to $1.75 million in incentive-based tax credits for the project. The company is eligible to claim state benefits once investments are made and jobs are created. The city of Greenwood will also offer incentives to support the project.
