Hope firefighters offering Saturday spaghetti dinner

The Hope Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser this weekend.

According to the department, the dinner is being held to support local firefighters and the services the department provides to the community. It will include spaghetti, breadsticks, a salad and drinks. Department members will also be baking desserts you can purchase at a bake sale.

Organizers request a free will donation to enjoy the meal. The dinner will be from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at the fire station on Aiken Street and you can dine in or carry out.

Tickets will also be on sale for a gun raffle that is coming up in April. The department will be raffling off a variety of pistols, shotguns and rifles as a fundraiser. Raffle tickets are $50 each and only 400 will be sold.
