U.S. 50 to see restrictions east of Seymour

U.S. 50 between Seymour and North Vernon will be reduced to a single lane starting on Wednesday.

According to INDOT, crews will be installing markings, completing final restoration, and adding raised markers to the pavement. That will be between County Roads 1225E and 1250E. Flaggers will be on scene and the highway will be reduced to a single lane during work.

The work is expected to take a week to complete but the work schedule is dependent on the weather.

Milestone will be doing the work as part of a $1.9 million contract.

INDOT reminds you to slow down, to drive without distractions and to be alert to worker safety in all work zones.
