Cummins sets sights on higher numbers for 2030
Cummins is raising its expectations for its business going forward, with a forecast that revenue will grow by a third or more over the next four years.
The Columbus based engine manufacturer gave an update to investors on its 2030 expectations today, setting a new forecast of revenue of $45 to $50 billion a year by 2030. That compares to the company’s 2025 revenues of $33.7 billion. The company also expects its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to rise from 17.4 percent in 2025, to more than 20 percent in 2030.
During the Analyst Day presentation, Cummins chair and CEO Jennifer Rumsey said that Cummins is succeeding “…because of our broad portfolio of innovative technologies and capabilities, trusted customer partnerships, global presence, experienced people and financial strength that allows us to invest in our future.”
Company officials said that Cummins will continue to invest in advanced diesel and fuel-flexible solutions. The company explained its HELM plan, engines built for high efficiency, lower emissions and multiple fuels. The Power Systems segment is also expanding to meet the energy needs of data centers.
