Brown County Humane Society names first executive director

The Brown County Humane Society is announcing that Suzanne Jalot has been chosen as the group’s first ever executive director.

The society has operated for 60 years with a only a board of directors and staff members, but organizers say that the creation of an executive director role reflects a strategic commitment to sustainability and leadership. Organizers say that having an executive director will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen fundraising efforts, and deepen community partnerships.

Jalot will oversee the organization’s programs and services, fundraising, and execution of strategic goals, while working closely with the Board of Directors.
