Dangerous heat possible Wednesday, Thursday

There is a danger of extreme heat in our area starting tomorrow afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says afternoon highs in the 90s Wednesday and Thursday are going to combine with already moist conditions and high humidity to make it feel like it is up to 102.

Forecasters say that if you have to be active outdoors, you should take breaks out of the sun and drink plenty of fluids. And authorities are warning that young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
