Young Professionals of Color holding Saturday workshop

As part of the community celebration of Juneteenth, Ivy Tech Community College Columbus campus will be hosting a summit Saturday for minority professionals navigating leadership in spaces where they are underrepresented.

The summit will be a half day long and include a 90-minute session exploring implicit bias, communication, and personal leadership. The goal is to equip participants with tools to better understand their role and voice. There will also be a panel discussion over lunch, featuring diverse voices across industries and backgrounds.

The event is being organized by the African American Foundation of Bartholomew County, the Columbus Young Professionals of Color and the school.

The Representing the Empty Chair summit will be from 9:30 to 1:30 at Moravec Hall on Central Avenue.
