Flood warning continues on East Fork White River at Seymour

A flood warning is in effect for East Fork White River at Seymour. Minor flooding is ongoing and minor flooding is expected.

According to river gauges, the river was at 14.8 feet earlier this morning and appears to have crested. The minor flood level is 12 feet. The river isn’t expected to drop back below flood levels until Sunday morning.

The flood warning is in effect until Sunday evening.

Emergency officials urge you not to drive around barricades or road closed signs. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. They say to turn around and don’t drown.
