Columbus parks department to honor Jack Cramer award winners

The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department will be holding an event later this month to honor the winners of this year’s Jack Cramer – Ideals of Athletic Competition Awards.

This year’s recipients are Rebecca Davis and Edward Vogel.

The awards are in memory of Jack Cramer, a former local athlete who died in 1977 at the age of 33. They are presented annually to a man and women for their role as athletes, coaches or sports organizers in the community.

An awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 5:30 p.m. in the Jim Lienhoop Meeting Room at NexusPark on 25th Street.
