Jennings County to hold National Night Out on Aug. 4th

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting National Night Out activities next month.

According to the department, National Night Out is an annual community event that brings neighbors and first responders together to strengthen relationships, promote public safety, and build a safer, stronger community in a fun, family-friendly environment.

The event will include free hot dogs, chips, and bottled water, a Coloring contest, music with a DJ, Face painting, and a Dunk a Deputy tank. Patrol vehicles, fire trucks and ambulances will be on display. Jackson County Animal Control will also be holding an adoption event.

National Night Out in Jennings County on Tuesday, August 4th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Jennings County Fairgrounds.
