Dave Grohl Promises ‘Seriously Crazy S**t’ For Foo Fighters‘ 25th Anniversary

Foo Fighters main man Dave Grohl is promising “some seriously crazy s**t” coming up in 2020, as the band prepares to mark the 25th anniversary of its 1995 self-titled debut album.

Grohl posted on social media on Tuesday (January 14th), which also happened to be his 51st birthday, saying, “Holy S**t!!! 25 years?! Thank you guys for being with us year after year…for singing along & making every show the best night of our lives. We’re JUST getting started, so Buckle up, 2020… it’s going to be an INSANE year full of some seriously crazy s**t…#FF25 #FF2020”

Grohl also included a 30-second teaser video. The former Nirvana drummer and other members of Foo Fighters have been hinting in recent months that new music is underway from the group. The Foos’ last full-length LP was 2017’s Concrete And Gold, which entered the Billboard 200 album chart at Number One.

The Foos have also been rolling out a series of archival EPs throughout the past year as part of the lead-up to the band’s quarter-century celebration, containing rare demos, B-sides and live tracks.
