Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan Rallies To Save Historic Rock Venue

Guns N’ Roses’ bassist, Duff McKagan is trying to save the historic Seattle venue, The Showbox. It’s being threatened with demolition so that developers can construct a 44-story apartment tower in its location.

McKagan who also played in the Seattle hardcore bands The Fartz and 10 Minute Warning before moving to L.A, tweeted his support in an ad. He said, in part: “Stand up for history, Seattle. My formative years of watching real bands was here.”

McKagan who left Guns N’ Roses after 12 years, rejoined in 2016.
