Happy birthday to the one and only, Peter Frampton.
Frampton got his start playing guitar with the British band the Herd when he was just 16. By the time he was 19, he had formed Humble Pie. By the early ’70s he moved on to another project — Frampton’s Camel — before launching a solo career in 1974. Two years later, his landmark ‘Frampton Comes Alive!’ album made him one of the planet’s biggest stars. The album topped the chart for 10 weeks and spawned three Top 20 singles.
He’s on tour this year, his final tour and will make a stop in Cincinnati. Here is arguably his most iconic song.
