For those needing help this holiday season, sign ups will begin next week in Bartholomew County for all of the community holiday help programs.
United Way of Bartholomew County’s holiday helpline will kick off Oct. 14th. The Helpline is the place to contact to register families and children for holiday food and gift assistance through the Community Center of Hope Angel Tree, Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Shop with a Cop, Toys for Tots, Love Chapel’s Holiday Food Pantry as well as other private organizations.
Families in need of help contact the Holiday Helpline through December 6th at 812-375-2216. That is Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. . If you need Spanish-language help, you can call SuCasa Columbus at 812-375-9370.
