KRISTEN BELL TO RETURN AS NARRATOR IN HBO MAX REBOOT OF GOSSIP GIRL: According to TVLine, Kristen Bell will be voicing the omniscient narrator in the HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl. Bell was the original narrator when the series premiered, and the series’ creators (who are returning on the reboot) said “Kristen Bell has always been and will always be the voice of Gossip Girl.”  

RON PERLMAN TO STAR IN UPCOMING THRILLER THIS GAME CALLED MURDER: The cast of the upcoming thriller This Game Called Murder has been announced, with Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman topping the list. The indie film, written and directed by Adam Sherman, will also star Vanessa Marano and Natasha Henstridge. The film is described as an “absurdist story full of violence…”

MAYIM BIALIK MAKES DIRECTING DEBUT, CASTS DUSTIN HOFFMAN & CANDICE BERGAN: Mayim Bialik of Blossom fame is set to make her directorial debut with the film As Sick As They Made Us. The film is a comedy-drama centered on a dysfunctional family. Bialik has landed a stellar cast, including Dustin Hoffman, Candice Bergen, Olivia Thirlby, and Big Bang Theory costar Simon Helberg.

STRANGER THINGS RELEASES THE TITLE OF EPISODE ONE: SEASON FOUR: In a recent tweet, the writers of Stranger Things have released the name of episode one in the upcoming season four: the full episode is called “Chapter One: The Hellfire Club”. The name is reminiscent of the supervillain group in Marvel’s X-Men comics, who were responsible for unleashing supervillain Dark Phoenix. The tweet also included the headline “looking for new members…are you in?”

‘BH90210’ CANCELLED BY FOX: This is the end of the line for the BH90210 reboot – Fox has decided not to order for another installment of the show, which was received with faily strong ratings until the novelty died down.
