Joe Jackson Set For Summer Theater Run

Joe Jackson is coming back to North America for a dozen-city summer run in support of his critically acclaimed latest album, Fast Forward. The tour kicks off on July 6th in Tarrytown, New York at Tarrytown Music Hall and wraps on July 29th at Boise, Idaho’s Egyptian Theatre.

Joe Jackson will forever be remembered for his 1970’s and ’80s hits, including such classics as 1979’s “Is She Really Going Out With Him?” (#21), 1982’s “Steppin’ Out” (#6), 1982’s “Breaking Us In Two” (#18), and 1984’s “You Can’t Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want)” (#15).

  • When we last caught up with Joe Jackson, he told us he well aware that his hit single days are long behind him at this point: “I guess that’s just the problem that anyone who doesn’t really fit into an obvious category has to deal with. You have to constantly deal with being misunderstood and a lot of difficulties in reaching an audience, and that’s just something that I accept at this point.” :
