Look out for slick spots during morning drive

Forecasters say you could see some slippery roads out there this morning.

According to the National Weather Service, accumulating snow is continuing and we are expected to get an inch or less of snow this morning. That could lead to slippery surfaces and hazardous travel conditions if you have to be on the road this morning.

Forecasters are urging you to drive with caution, leave extra space between you and the vehicles in front of you and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.

Most of central Indiana is under a winter weather advisory this morning including Shelby and Johnson Counties in our area.

Temperatures are going to drop into the 20s tonight and gusty winds of 25 to 35 mph are going to make that feel like 10 or less in some places.
