Government offices closing for Veterans Day

Many local government offices will be closed Tuesday for Veterans Day. That includes Columbus City Hall, the Bartholomew County Solid Waste management District office and the Columbus and Bartholomew County Recycling Center.

Columbus City Utilties will also be closed. if you have a problem with your water or sewer service, you can call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.

The Bartholomew County Landfill will be open on its normal schedule.

Columbus city trash and recycling routes will be on their normal schedule tomorrow.

In Seymour the Department of Public Works and recycling dropoff will be closed Tuesday. Trash, recycling and yard waste routes normally set for Tuesday will instead be picked up on Wednesday.

In Greensburg, city offices will be closed and trash service will resume on Wednesday.
