Centra gives grants to local non-profit groups

Centra Credit Union will be giving $2,500 grants to 21 local non profit groups, with funds directed by Centra team members.

According to Jenni Carr, Centra’s Director of Community Involvement, Centra team members are involved in their communities and love being able to support the causes they care about each year.

She said that non-profit organizations are all about ‘People Helping People,’ and Centra ” loves helping them achieve their missions.”

Company officials say Centra actively seeks new ways to give their team members more opportunities to give back to the communities it serves. All told, Centra donated to 50 non profit organizations through the program across the communities it serves.
