Columbus tourism group unveils new branding
The Columbus Area Visitors Center has a new branding campaign and website, ComeSeeColumbus.com.
The update was unveiled at an event last night at the Crump Theatre. The new look incorporates the classic Dancing C designed by Paul Rand in the 1970s, but puts into a playful context, incorporating it into a new Visit Columbus logo with similar typography. The campaign includes primary colors and symbols representing the various sectors of Columbus tourism, including architecture and sports.
Misty Weisensteiner, executive director of the visitors center, explains.
The new look was designed by a team led by Uriaha Foust of the Basement design firm from Indianapolis.
