Operation Cold Front sends another man to prison

A drug dealing crackdown last year in Bartholomew County called Operation Cold Front has led to another prison sentence.
The Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s office says that 48-year-old Darrell W. Crow Jr. of Columbus was arrested as part of the September investigation on two felony charges of dealing in methamphetamine.
In February, Crow Jr. plead guilty to dealing in methamphetamine. Superior Court Judge Jim Worton sentenced Crow on Tuesday to a 20 year sentence, with 15 to be served in the Indiana Department of Corrections and five years suspended to probation with community corrections.
Crow was one of nine people arrested in Operation Cold Front in September which was a coordinated effort by the Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, the county sheriff’s department and prosecutor’s office and Columbus Police Department.
