Jennings teen convicted in school bus attacks

A jury in Jennings County has found a teen guilty of raping a seven-year-old non-verbal child with autism after incidents on a special needs school bus last year.

16-year-old Landon Doty was convicted yesterday of rape, child molestation, sexual battery, criminal confinement, and public indecency

The repeated sexual assaults happened on a school bus last April when Doty was 15-years-old. The assaults happened while a bus driver and monitor were both onboard.

Doty was charged as an adult. His sentencing date has not been scheduled.
