Early voting begins today ahead of May primary elections
Early voting for the May primary election gets underway today,
In Bartholomew County you can vote early and in person at the Gather Columbus Event Space. That is the former Texas Roadhouse location at 2508 25th Street. Voting will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. There will also be Saturday voting hours on April 25th and May 2nd from 8 to 3 p.m. at Gather Columbus and at the Bartholomew County Governmental Office Building on Third Street.
In Jackson County, you can vote early at three locations. The Jackson County Court House in Brownstown, the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour and at the Jackson County Learning Center in Seymour. Early voting on weekdays is from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the courthouse and library and from noon to 5 p.m. at the learning center. There will also be Saturday voting hours in Jackson County on April 25th and May 2nd from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the courthouse and learning center. There will not be Saturday voting at the library.
Early voting wraps up by noon on Monday, May 4th with Primary Election Day on Tuesday May 5th.
In Bartholomew County you will be able to vote at any of 15 vote centers throughout the county from 6 to 6. New voting center sites this year include Gather Columbus, as well as the Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum on Ray Boll Boulevard and Grace Lutheran Church on Central Avenue
