Franklin firefighters battling major blaze at senior housing

Franklin firefighters have been fighting a major fire this morning at the Compass Park seniors facility.

Firefighters say that all residents of the area are safe and accounted for. The fire happened in a part of the building that is under construction.

Compass Park offers independent living and assisted living for seniors and is just off of South State Street.
