Unopposed Bartholomew candidates move on to November elections
Several Bartholomew County candidates were unopposed in yesterday’s primaries and will now move to the November elections.
On the Republican side, incumbents Superior Court Judge Jon Rohde, Prosecutor Lindsey Holden, Circuit Court Clerk Shari Lentz, Sheriff Chris Lane, Assessor Ginny Whipple, District 2 County Commissioner Carl Lienhoop and County Council members Greg Patterson and Mark Gorbett were unopposed in the primary election. Also unopposed in the Republican primary were newcomers Sandy Beatty for county treasurer, Debra Settle for county recorder and Vickie Michael for county auditor.
Unopposed Democrats included Lula Young for county clerk, Kimberly Wadholm for auditor, Nancy Merbitz for recorder, Grant Hale for county commissioner and Michelle Carr for County Council District 4.
