CRH treatment center to find new owners

Columbus Regional Health is announcing that there will be new owners for CRH’s Treatment and Support Center.

According to the health system, CRH and Ascension Recovery Services are launching an initiative to transition ownership, management and operations of the center to Indiana Recovery Homes. After a transition period, Ascension Recovery Services and Indiana Recovery Homes will fully acquire the center. The transition process is expected to take a few months and to be complete by the end of 2026.

Patients, families, referral partners, and community stakeholders can expect uninterrupted services and continued access to the care and support.

According to the health system, CRH identified a growing need for substance use disorder treatment services in 2017. The hospital engaged Ascension Recovery Services to help develop and launch what would become the Treatment and Support Center.

Officials say that the transition will bring the center into an organization that includes recovery housing, medical detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient services, and medication-assisted treatment. Under the new management, the center will be continuing to evaluate opportunities to strengthen care coordination, enhance patient access, and expand services to meet evolving community needs.
