She also served as a Universal Design for Learning Facilitator at Mt. Healthy Elementary and L. Frances Smith Elementary.
She most recently served as Director of Entrepreneurship for the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
Rushton said she will focus immediately on listening to educators, students, donors, and community partners, strengthening relationships with current and prospective supporters, increasing awareness of the Foundation’s impact; and advancing grants, scholarships, and other investments.)
The non-profit school foundation supports the work of BCSC, providing financial resources and promoting awareness and philanthropy for programs that help students achieve educational excellence.
