New innovation center celebrated on South Marr Road
Local and state officials celebrated the grand opening of the Advanced Machine and Vehicle Innovation Center on Marr Road yesterday.
Cathy Choi, CEO of the non profit center, explained their mission.

Gov. Mike Braun and Mayor Mary Ferdon were on hand to give remarks for the event.
The non profit project is receiving just over $1 million in grants from the city redevelopment department and $1 million from state READI funds through the South Central Indiana Talent Region, along with $7 million in private investments towards an estimated $9 million project cost.
Choi talks about the importance of the funding to the mission.
