Animal Care raffle cycle to be on display during Saturday event

There’s an event coming up this weekend to raise awareness of the fundraising efforts toward building a new Columbus animal shelter.

Twisted Torch Harley Davidson in Edinburgh will be having a hog racing event on Saturday and showing off a 2025 Nightster motorcycle being raffled off to support the capital campaign to build the new shelter for Columbus Animal Care Services.

Friends of Columbus Animal Care Services, the non profit partner of the city animal shelter is raising funds to help replace the existing building, which was constructed in 1987. Raffle tickets start at a single chance for $10, up to 100 tickets for $100 dollars. The cycle is valued at more than $12,000 dollars or you can accept $10,000 in cash.

The fundraiser will also feature a 50/50 bonus raffle.

Originally set to end in February, tickets are now available for sale through March 21st at one minute til midnight and the drawing will be held at the dealership.

Saturday’s hog racing event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store on West Marketplace Drive in Edinburgh.
