Chance of severe weather Sunday evening; Temps to drop dramatically

Our area and munch of Indiana are under a moderate risk of severe weather tonight, with high winds expected and a quick drop in temperatures.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis forecasters say that we will go from record warmth near 70 today to below freezing temperatures overnight. The wind chill is going to make that feel even colder by Monday morning.

As the new cold front pushes through Indiana tonight, you can expect rain and isolated thunderstorms, some of which could turn severe. Gusty winds of up to 45 mph are expected to start this evening, with 50-60 mph in some of the severe storms. A wind advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. this evening to 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
