Columbus mayor to give State of the City address in February

Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon’s 2026 State of the City address is coming up next month.

The State of the City is an effort to update the community on the past year’s achievements and to outline upcoming priorities. Ferdon’s third state of the city speech will be Tuesday, February 10th at The Commons.

Ferdon recently outlined several large projects on the horizon in the year ahead, including replacing the aging city animal shelter, a major tower project at the airport and improving safety at the entrance of downtown Columbus.

The doors will open at 5:30 pm and remarks will begin at 6:00 pm. on February 10th.
