CRH updates Cleveland Clinic partnership successes

Columbus Regional Health is updating the community of the progress made through its partnership with the Cleveland Clinic.

The hospital system announced the partnership in January, saying the program with the clinic is part of a worldwide network of like-minded organizations with a focus on quality that aims to have a positive impact on patient care worldwide. The program provides access to the Cleveland Clinic’s knowledge to improve patients’ experiences, care, safety and ultimately outcomes of their treatment.

The partnership provides several benefits to local medical care including allowing CRH clinicians to take part in educational opportunities either at Cleveland Clinic or through distance learning. CRH physicians are also be able to request input from Cleveland Clinic experts on complex cases. The Cleveland Clinic also is making available quality improvement services and other training opportunities.

The local hospital says several initiatives are underway to improve safety, quality and patient experiences as well as physician recruitment and facility planning. The hospital says CRH teams have completed nearly 30 special projects across 18 departments with the support and collaboration of Cleveland Clinic Connected experts.

In 2025, CRH providers took part in eClinical Review processes five times, each to ensure that a patient was receiving the best possible care backed by the expertise of Cleveland Clinic specialists.
