Dense fog in the forecast this morning

You could run into dense, patchy fog if you have to be on the road this morning.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis, says there are going to be places with reduced visibility as low as a quarter of a mile this morning across our area.

They suggest using your low beam headlights, leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicles ahead of you and give yourself extra time to reach your destination.

A dense fog advisory is in effect for most of south central Indiana, including Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson and Shelby counties.

The fog should clear by about 9 this morning.
