Donner Park Shelter house to celebrate 100 years with Saturday Spectacular

Centennial celebrations will be held Saturday recognizing the 100th anniversaries of the Donner Park Shelter house and the Columbus Rotary Club.

The event will include entertainment, food trucks, a raffle and a recognition of Tom Pickett as the oldest living former Rotary president and a long-time organizer of the variety shows held at the shelter house

The event is being organized by the Columbus Park Foundation, the Columbus Rotary Club, News Talk 1010 WCSI and Little Local Life.

The Centennial Variety Spectacular will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the shelter house. It is free and you are invited to attend. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Columbus Park Foundation. You can get tickets for the event online at centennialvarietyspectacular.com
