Early voting hours approved at Bartholomew government building
Early voting is underway in Bartholomew County and extra hours have been set for weekend voting locations and election night activities.
Bartholomew County Clerk Shari Lentz received approval yesterday from the county commissioners for extra Saturday hours for upcoming early voting at the county governmental office building and for extra hours to keep the courthouse open late on election night for election workers to tally votes.
Early voting is already ongoing in Bartholomew County at the Gather Columbus Event Space from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. That is the former Texas Roadhouse location at 2508 25th Street.
There will also be Saturday voting hours on April 25th and May 2nd from 8 to 3 p.m. at Gather Columbus and at the Bartholomew County Governmental Office Building on Third Street.
Early voting wraps up by noon on Monday, May 4th with Primary Election Day on Tuesday May 5th.
In Bartholomew County you will be able to vote at any of 15 vote centers throughout the county from 6 to 6. New voting center sites this year include Gather Columbus, as well as the Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum on Ray Boll Boulevard and Grace Lutheran Church on Central Avenue
