Former Columbus exhibit finds new home at Ivy Tech in Muncie

A former Exhibit Columbus installation has found a new home in Muncie according to organizers.

According to the Landmark Columbus Foundation, a blue box artwork that was installed on the Bartholomew County Public Library plaza two years ago, has now found a permanent home at the Ivy Tech Community College Campus in Muncie.

The structure called “Designed by the Public” featured a library of objects stored on the plaza and the public was invited to try out and use items ranging from furniture, to tools and art supplies. It was created by Tatiana Bilbao ESTUDIO and was one of the 2023 Exhibit Columbus J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize winner installations.

The new home on the plaza of the John & Janice Fisher Building in Muncie, was created with partnership between Landmark Columbus Foundation, Ivy Tech and the MuncieArts and Culture Council.
