Government offices closed today for MLK holiday

A reminder that local government offices will be closed today due to the MLK Day holiday. In Columbus, trash and recycling routes will remain on their normal schedule.

Columbus City Utilities will also be closed. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, you can call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.

The Columbus and Bartholomew County Recycling Center on Mapleton Street will be closed today, but the Bartholomew County Landfill will be open.

In Seymour, normal Monday trash and recycling routes will instead be run on Tuesday.
