Government offices closed, trash routes delayed due to holiday

Local government offices will be closed today for the New Years Day holiday.

In Columbus, the normal Thursday trash and recycling routes will be picked up today, and the normal Friday routes will be collected on Saturday.

Columbus City Utility offices will be closed. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, please call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.

In Seymour, normal Thursday trash and recycling routes will be picked up along with normal Friday routes today.
