Governor to speak at Jackson County Chamber event Tuesday

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun will be the featured guest at a luncheon next week organized by the Jackson County Chamber.

According to the Chamber, the governor will “share insights on economic development and commerce in Jackson County,
addressing opportunities for growth and the future of our local business community.” Organizers say that attendees will gain
perspective on state and regional initiatives that impact those in the area.

Chamber director Dan Robison released a statement saying the luncheon “provides a unique opportunity for our community to hear directly from Governor Braun about the progress being made and the opportunities ahead for Jackson County.”

The event will be Tuesday, Sept. 9th at the Copper Top restaurant starting at 11:30 a.m.

The cost of the luncheon will be $20. The Chamber is encouraging the business community, civic leaders and residents to attend.
