Heritage Fund offering free movies Thursday as next act of joy

Heritage Fund: The Bartholomew County Community Foundation is offering its next act of joy in celebration of its 50th anniversary, with free movies Thursday night at YES Cinema.

Heritage Fund was founded in 1976 and serves as a center for philanthropy for the community, managing gifts and donations and providing leadership to benefit the Bartholomew County community. This year is being promoted as the 50th anniversary Golden “Joy-bilee.” Throughout the year, The Heritage Fund will be offering 50 acts of joy, by delivering mini grants to local organizations, taking part in volunteer efforts and offer activities across the community, all in a effort to spread joy.

Thursday’s movie night is the fifth act of joy. The movies on tap Thursday will be The Secret Life of Pets at 6 p.m. and Sleepless in Seattle at 6:30 p.m. In addition to the movie, there will be free popcorn.

The seating is limited so you are encouraged to sign up in advance.
