Hope to host fish fry, raffle drawings Saturday for fire department

The Hope Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a fish fry dinner and drawing the winners of a gun raffle on Saturday.

The fish fry will be from 11 to 8 Saturday or until the food runs out at the fire station on Aiken Street in Hope. Fish meals will start at $10 and hot dog meals at $5.

The raffle includes 20 firearms with a variety of pistols, shotguns and rifles. The department is partnering with Double G Guns & Archery for the fundraiser.

Proceeds will help fund equipment purchases, training, and operational needs of the department.

The drawing will be held Saturday at 3 p.m.
