Houchin leading new online child safety group

Our area congresswoman is announcing the formation of a new group of representatives working to protect the safety of children online.

Republican Rep. Erin Houchin says the bipartisan Kids Online Safety Caucus will work to “serve as a hub for lawmakers, parents, educators, and industry experts to share information and develop practical solutions that keep children safe online.”

Houchin, a mother of three, said “Families deserve real tools and clear information to help them navigate this rapidly changing digital age, and Congress must hold Big Tech accountable when their platforms put children at risk.”

The newly formed caucus is led by Houchin and Democratic Congressman Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts.
